Job Description:

Dedicated Clinical Resource Program Manager serves as an integral member of the Medline team supporting and driving the supply chain objectives across multiple hospitals or an Integrated Delivery Network (IDN). The Dedicated Clinical Resource Program Manager is responsible for driving positive change through leading initiatives that support the health care organizations clinical and cost agendas. This individual needs to build strategic alliances with Supply Chain and Hospital Executive Leadership at the Corporate and Facility level to successfully execute Medline's Supply Chain Operations plan

Responsibilities Include:


  • Serve as clinical liaison between Medline and Customer

  • Integrate into Customer value analysis process and provide balanced clinical recommendation

  • Assist in identifying and reviewing opportunities for clinically acceptable conversions to drive savings for Customer through product cross reference and sampling

  • Coordinate clinical resources/support for assessments, product trials and implementations

  • Assists in connecting relevant product education materials between requesting department, education team and associated vendor.

  • Support system wide SKU rationalization

  • Supports crosswalk product conversions and facilitate communication between strategic sourcing, inventory, and data administration departments to ensure all needed product attributes are accurately managed.

  • Facilitates communication of applicable clinical literature to support product utilization, product conversions and additions, trials and supporting committee activities.

  • Support product trials and/or table-tops for clinical acceptability between requesting departments and vendors.

  • Drafts and manages product surveys and quantifies results.

  • Collaborate with clinical teams and inventory to operationalize and initiate product conversions as well as provide ongoing support to ensure successful product utilization.

  • Records and prepares product and service utilization reports and updates applicable teams.

  • Works in collaboration with the CSBA and Medline account manager to develop strategies and identify process improvements that are focused on substantial supply/service cost reduction, standardization and utilization, while maintaining or enhancing quality.

  • Oversees opportunities and develops qualitative/quantitative analyses and methodologies for product/service utilization and cost reduction efforts focused on cost containment, utilization, waste reduction, and overall cost per service.

  • Reviews and assesses applicable financial, clinical, and operational data, as well as evidence-based literature to assist teams in evaluating new supplies and new technology, using evidence based clinical data, benchmarked best practices and data driven analysis.

  • Documents identified and implemented cost savings initiatives and audits projected utilization and actual spend.

  • Provide leadership to contribute to Provider's and individual facilities' strategic plan to improve supply chain optimization and clinical outcomes

  • Evaluate relevant policies and procedures upon request; collaborate onsite with clinicians to finalize current practice, clinical protocols and SOPs.

  • Provide recommendations on practice improvement in conjunction with national nursing protocols

  • Conduct discovery assessments or coordinates specialty clinician discovery assessment; present findings of discovery assessments to Provider's Supply Chain and Nursing Leadership and end users

  • Formulate strategies and plans for product and solution development

Benefits

  • The anticipated salary range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Education


  • Bachelor's Degree
Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 3 years of direct patient care nursing experience
Certification / Licensure

  • RN
Additional

  • This position will sit onsite at our customer headquarters located in Hartford, CT and may be required to travel to customer satellite locations throughout the area
  • Ability to build positive customer relationships
  • Experience presenting to and coordinating professional level meetings, including preparation of agendas, presentations and documenting meeting outcomes, etc.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft office products
