Seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer with a strong background in plastics manufacturing to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our plastics production processes.
Responsibilities:
Analyze existing plastics manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost.
Develop and implement new processes for the production of plastic parts and components.
Troubleshoot process issues related to equipment, materials, and molding parameters.
Conduct trials and experiments to optimize process parameters and ensure consistent product quality.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Lean Six Sigma.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process control plans (PCPs).
Collaborate with other engineers, production personnel, and quality control teams to ensure smooth production flow.
Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in plastics manufacturing technologies and materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Plastics, Chemical, Mechanical, or related field) preferred.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in plastics manufacturing processes, such as injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding.
Strong understanding of plastics materials, rheology, and processing principles.
Experience with process optimization tools and techniques (e.g., Design of Experiments, Statistical Process Control).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
