Job Description:

We’re glad you’re exploring our Systems Engineer position and want to share some of the details.


 


First, some of the things you will need are a Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities required. 5 years’ experience is preferred.


 


Second, in this position you will be responsible for things like Installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining network hardware and software. You will perform network architecture design and implementation, Install and configure new or replacement network hardware, design and support the wireless network, and maintain network documentation. In collaboration with Cybersecurity Team, you will recommend, establish, and enforce policies, procedures, and standards regarding network security and use of the organization's computer and information assets. The Network Engineer will Design, implement, and monitor disaster procedures and recovery, evaluate and recommend infrastructure purchases to support system efficiency and growth of Fort Wayne Metals and with support from Infrastructure Manager, facilitate purchases and coordinate installation.


 


 


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:       



  • Sitting and working at a computer for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to access all areas of operation.

  • Moderate bending, stooping and regular lifting of equipment up to 50 lbs.
