Role

Act as liaison between IT and the business to scope and deliver efficient IT solutions in support of core organizational functions.

Depending on your level of relevant experience and certification, you will be considered for one of

three job levels which include Business Analyst I, Business Analyst II or Senior Business Analyst.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Install and test new enhancements received from software vendors in accordance with Bank SDLC to ensure production changes are successfully implemented and all stakeholders are aware.

  • Assist employees in solving routine system software, hardware and procedure problems.

  • Responsible for the analysis, definition, configuration, testing and documenting of changes to existing systems per the Bank SDLC. Act as a liaison between end users, IT staff, and vendors, if needed, to define and document business requirements and success criteria and coordinate a production change.

  • Assist with the evaluation of Bank initiatives, including review of scope, integration within the current framework, and estimates. Responsible for project management of key bank initiatives to ensure project is completed within budget and timeline; perform IT Project lead role to by facilitating internal and external meetings, ensuring Bank stakeholders are engaged, project scope and resource needs are identified, and that the project is implemented successfully per the Bank's SDLC.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

  • Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.

Experience


  • Typically requires three to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.

  • Adequate experience in the following areas: Working in a collaborative team environment to deliver software solutions; Working in a formal project management methodology; AGILE environment is preferred; Eliciting requirements from users and translating into IT deliverables; Working as part of a project team to complete assigned deliverables; Working with Office products and tools for documenting/tracking requirements; Proven ability to test and document software as part of an SDLC.

Education/Certifications/Licenses

College degree required.

Skills

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required to be an effective subject matter expert in the position. In-depth dialogues, conversations and explanations with customers and outside vendors of a sensitive and/or highly confidential nature is a normal part of the day-to-day experience. Communications can involve motivating, influencing, educating and/or advising others on matters of significance.
