Position Summary


The Payments & Operations Coordinator provides timely customer service to all members and teammates through daily payment processing. Essential duties include coordination of information from various sources and the ability to navigate multiple systems to research and resolve issues, tasks, and responsibilities.



Essential Duties


Scans, indexes, and verifies Credit Union documents to maintain accuracy and proper retention

Regularly verifies documents stored off-site that have been imaged, logs the documents in the destruction log, and destroys the original document

Accurately process daily mail to include deposits, loan payments, correspondence from outside vendors, outgoing payments & correspondence, and process return mail

Management of plastic replenishments and audits

Responsible for all document and card destruction in compliance with the Credit Union Record Retention Policy

Assist with Foreign Collection and Return Deposit items

Responds to member and teammate research requests

Monitors various department email inboxes and phone loop

Assists with the posting of incoming wires

Assists teammates with questions, problems and requests concerning electronic documents and document retrieval

Champion organizational culture both internally and externally; consistently demonstrate Amplify's service standards and promote same amongst teammates

Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications




Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED required.



Certificates, Licenses, Registrations


Must be bondable.



Software & Equipment Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of and be proficient in the use of a personal computer, Microsoft Office products (Windows, Word, Excel and Outlook); 10-key calculator and telephone.


Prior experience with the following is preferred but not required: Hyland OnBase, Fiserv DNA



Other Qualifications


Ability to present a professional and personable disposition to members and staff. Ability to handle daily routine with moderate freedom to interpret and act upon various situations with minimal supervision. Ability to think strategically and implement tactically.


Working knowledge of credit union's products and services, policies, Standard Operating Procedures and state and federal NCUA regulations. Knowledge of the fundamentals of banking; Knowledge of financial services delivery; Ability to analyze statistical and financial data.


Exercise good judgement, flexibility and sensitivity in responses to changing situations and needs


Ability to work within established guidelines with latitude to make decisions and take initiative to resolve problems or handle unique circumstances.

Pay & Benefits


This position offers a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. It also entails the benefits available to all Amplify employees, including a 401(k) with a company match of 100% on the first 5% you contribute.
