We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the overall financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate detailed financial reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
Provide financial insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Assist in the preparation of financial forecasts.
General ledger entries and reconciliations.
Responsible for AP check runs and 1099's
Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements.
Assist in the coordination of external audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
5+years of experience in accounting
Experience using Oracle Software preferred
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial analysis.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and VLOOKUP) a must!
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
