Review incoming land control agreement requests for completeness.
Coordinate property searches with third-party professionals.
Examine vesting instruments and recorded documents to ensure complete interest.
Prepare and proof leases, easements, and purchase options for the development team.
Collaborate with the Real Estate Origination Manager, project managers, land agents, and external parties.
Maintain landowner files, tracking spreadsheets, LPM data, and Basecamp.
Manage document requests and maintain project status reports.
Perform additional duties, including project closings, contract management, mailings, and training.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in the title industry or real estate abstracting - required.
Knowledge of land deeds, title abstracting, and real estate agreements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Microsoft Teams. Experience with Landworks is a plus.
Experience with renewable energy projects is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail.
High school diploma or GED; college degree is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay range: $62k-$72k DOE
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch - some flexibility available
Location: In office for training for 1-3 weeks in Bloomington (hybrid option based on performance)
