Meta Technical Program Manager (TPM) Leaders work with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, data scientists and researchers to build platforms for developers. We are seeking a People Manager who is passionate in leading a team of Technical Program Managers (TPMs) on building developer experiences to help create a valuable and secure platform that developers use to build community and grow their business across Meta.



Group Manager, Technical Program Management - Reality Labs, Developer Platform Responsibilities:



  • Identify complex problems that require solving. Build out and evangelize a compelling long-term technical vision to achieve business success.

  • Lead a team of Technical Program Managers (TPM) through the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products

  • Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team of technical program managers

  • Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution

  • Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

  • Manage cross-functional programs in a matrix organization covering a range of areas.

  • Lead and prioritize strategic initiatives while working closely with teams across the organization, including partner teams around the world.

  • Drive adoption of technologies, often across disparate components of the product and/or infrastructure technical stack, while thinking through how to take current technology to the next level in effective and efficient ways

  • Scope problems with a cross-org view and translate complex technical details into simple-to-understand communications, while also serving as the golden thread across teams to drive alignment and create cohesion.

  • Look ahead to identify risks and issues in advance where possible, and proactively dive deep, work hands-on, and partner with XFN to mitigate and solve those





Minimum Qualifications:



  • 8+ years of experience with building and managing a team of Technical Program Managers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and experience setting and holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables.

  • Communication and interpersonal experience, including relationship building and collaboration within a cross-functional teams.

  • Experience understanding product requirements and translating needs into plans.

  • Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience.

  • Experience presenting to executive audiences.





Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience working on large scale platforms.

  • Experience delivering on complex regulatory requirements and demonstrating compliance.
