Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client in the energy industry is seaching for an HR Learning Specialist to provide a specialist facilitation that extracts and documents critical tacit knowledge from individuals, projects, mergers, acquisitions and divestments.

Responsibilities:


  • Leads developments in Organisation Development and Learning (OD&L) design and delivery, including conceptualisation i.e. a thought leader, and leads and improves complex processes & change agendas

  • Working independently, within strategic business plan/framework; Leads well-defined projects (although may be required to develop the business case), which can be characterized as having a significant external component and will generally involve working across Functions with multiple internal and external parties

  • Leads and improves complex global processes leading Learning Advisors - (i.e. May lead without formal authority (i.e. indirect reports) but may also achieve project delivery acting as an Individual Contributor; Internal stakeholders at VP+ level in OD&L

  • Engages with Business Leaders; Supports Learning HR VP for Line of Business - Assigned to a particular line of business of medium to high complexity (e.g. less stable portfolio, multiple geographies across different regions)

  • Leads significant projects; Total population typically 2,500+; Team comprised of individual contributors







REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5 years of experience in oil and gas industry or in technical environment

  • Good command of English - spoken and written; Fluency in other languages is an added benefit

  • Strong communicator

  • Strong workshop facilitation skills

  • Interview techniques and ability to conduct technical interviews

  • Strong report writing skills

  • Ability to stimulate dialogue with difficult topics and generate learnings

  • Experience and patience with different cultures

  • Can create a no-blame atmosphere in a room.

  • Ability to bring a group together and control it without damaging it

  • A manner of teaching which generates and uses the ideas and skills of the participants

  • Skill in noticing and resolving participants problems

  • Enthusiasm for the subject and capacity to put it across in an interesting way

  • Flexibility in responding to participant's changing needs






The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.



We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
