Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze technical problems and provide solutions.
  • Troubleshoot basic control system and suggest repairs.
  • Reverse engineer electro-mechanical assemblies to perform refurbishment.
  • Record procedure and results, numerical and graphical data and make recommendations for changes in product or test method.
  • Assist production departments with fixturing and tooling.
  • Develop and execute rigorous testing procedures to identify and rectify product defects and issues.
  • Implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as improve yields and reduce cycle time.
  • Disposition NCs, investigate customer complaints, perform FA's and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop specs and produce documents for manufacturing.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Dedication to safety is a must.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
  • Zero to three (0-3) years' experience, preferably in design.
  • Experienced with LabView is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of Solid Works required.
  • Experienced with Configuration Control is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and technical writing abilities.
  • Sound organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
