Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze technical problems and provide solutions.
- Troubleshoot basic control system and suggest repairs.
- Reverse engineer electro-mechanical assemblies to perform refurbishment.
- Record procedure and results, numerical and graphical data and make recommendations for changes in product or test method.
- Assist production departments with fixturing and tooling.
- Develop and execute rigorous testing procedures to identify and rectify product defects and issues.
- Implement changes to manufacturing processes to improve quality and efficiency as well as improve yields and reduce cycle time.
- Disposition NCs, investigate customer complaints, perform FA's and implement corrective actions.
- Develop specs and produce documents for manufacturing.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Dedication to safety is a must.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
- Zero to three (0-3) years' experience, preferably in design.
- Experienced with LabView is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of Solid Works required.
- Experienced with Configuration Control is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and technical writing abilities.
- Sound organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with ability to multi-task.
