Volt is immediately hiring for Material Handler in Tustin, CA.
As an Material Handler you will:
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Prepare and maintain records and reports of inventories, price lists, shortages, shipments, expenditures, and goods used or issued.
This is a full time opportunity. 5 days a week. Monday thru Friday.
The ideal candidate will have:
2+ years' with material handling experience
Previous warehousing, logistics, or material handling experience is beneficial but not required.
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs. and perform physical activities that
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software are preferred.
Schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Days: Monday thru Friday
Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
