Job Description:

Schneider Electric has an opportunity for the Schneider Development Program in Fairfield, Ohio, for a full-time Manufacturing Production Supervisor. This is a Night shift position: Mon - Thurs, Shift time: 6:30 PM to 5:30 AM.

You MUST be willing to relocate as this is a 3-year rotational program to different Schneider Electric locations.

This rotational development program is designed to give recent graduates a second to none hands on experience working in multiple teams within our manufacturing, distribution center and/or our corporate HUB sites.

The Program consists of six different tracks that a talent could be placed into based on interest and education/background.

Operations/Engineering

Supply Chain

Procurement

Quality | Customer Satisfaction

Safety, Environment and Real Estate (SERE)

Data/Business Analytics

Participants in either track will experience a variety of rotations in two or more US Global Supply Chain locations - one year per location. These rotations enable participants to gain a multitude of broad experiences, networking opportunities, leadership and other personalized development as well as unique exposure to local, regional and global teams.

Customer Delivery Experience

Upstream or Downstream Flow Controller

Transportation and Logistics

Procurement Sourcing Leader

Category Buyer

Data Analytics within a team or business unit

What will you do?

Responsible for safety, on-time service, quality, productivity, operator training and flexibility in the group for a variety of customers.

Manage assembly operations following the Schneider Performance System (SPS) guidelines through the use of SIM and other lean processes.

Motivate the team as well as collaborate on new ideas and activities to eliminate barriers and exceed goals.

Drive the Short Interval Management process.

Lead continuous improvement efforts of the team.

Develop and maintain excellent working relationship across all levels of the organization.

Utilize lean manufacturing and six sigma skills to address complex process opportunities with simple solutions.

Identify constraints to achieving goals and collaborate to find and implement effective solutions.

Pro-actively identify barriers and resolve root cause issues.

Bachelor's Degree in preferred majors: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, Occupational Safety, Business/Data Analytics or other related programs.

Manufacturing, Supply Chain or other related internship experience required

Have strong leadership skills
