Functional Expert- Supply Chain Systems
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manufacturing Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our CI Team, you will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing our manufacturing systems to drive efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness throughout the entire factory.
Responsibilities:
System Optimization: Analyze existing manufacturing systems and business systems changes (SAP, Power Bi, Systems Management, CMMS, Production Scheduling, Wonderware) and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
Technology Integration: Evaluate, select, and implement advanced technologies and software solutions to streamline manufacturing operations and improve supply chain visibility. This may include ERP systems, manufacturing execution systems (MES), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other relevant tools.
Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. Utilize methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to drive process optimization and standardization.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics and modeling techniques to analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory management, production scheduling, and distribution processes.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and quality assurance teams, to ensure alignment of manufacturing systems with overall business objectives and customer requirements. Knowledge of pipeline systems and procedures.
Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and bottlenecks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring continuity of operations.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on new manufacturing systems and processes to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing systems, processes, and procedures. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
