The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Analyst with strong technical acumen. This role will be instrumental in creating business critical applications, overseeing infrastructure and IT operations initiatives, and spearheading the implementation and management of our data backup strategy.
This is a Hybrid position that can be based out of Merrillville, IN, Chicago, IL, or Meriden, CT.
Key Job Responsibilities
Maintain the Group Policy infrastructure based on policies and guidelines
Assist with implementing solutions for hardware and software using GPOs via Intune O365
Implement data backup, recovery, and disaster response plans, ensuring business continuity in case of data loss or system failures
Manage help desk ticket queue
Oversee small/medium sized infrastructure, operations, and optimization projects (e.g. implementation of backup strategies, data migration)
Aid in mobility management with vendor and management platform
Perform asset management, including tracking hardware and software inventory
Provide user support, document software issues encountered in production, analyze root causes, and debug issues
Provide the solution documentation and provide trainings to users and other IT team members
Research and resolve business application questions and issues
Coordinate the installation of computer applications and systems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Solid understanding of software/hardware lifecycles and methodologies preferred
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to less technical stakeholders
Solution-oriented individual with strong analytical, logical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of data backup, recovery, and disaster response planning
