Job Description:

EMD Electronics is hiring a Business Support Specialist. The Business Support Specialist is responsible for the coordination and alignment of key business processes for managing customer support issues including account pre-approvals, PO related issues, account receivable issues, and service order tracking. The role assists Key Account Managers with order AtRisk and Non-Conformance tracking as well generation of sales reports, aligning SAP master data with proper Sales Engineer assignments. Additionally, this position manages the monthly reporting package, new opportunity past due reports, customer data requirements and provides direct support to Sales Engineers.



Responsibilities:



Drive Business Performance to successfully manage and execute key account sales functions that require cross-disciplinary support Project Resourcing to identify the specific needs of customers through collaboration with regional leadership teams Execute Change Management to support adoption and cultural transformation strategies, with a focus on leadership development and coaching Strategic ImpactSupport the Sales team and Service Managers with customer follow-up and resolution related to invoicing issuesGenerate customer waivers as required for invoicingFollow-up with internal and external customers on invoice delays and account receivable issuesAssist with generating reports for the Sales Engineers to support tracking performance to budgetProvide sales account assistance with customer issue resolutionManage alignment of SAP customer master Sales Engineer assignmentsCreate monthly report template and ensure participants complete actions on timeGenerate sales reports for monthly reporting utilizing SAP, and Analysis for ExcelSupport Ad Hoc billing for projects and customers that do not have a constant monthly billing amountSAP reporting and analysis with respect to the North America and Europe customersTrack Non-Conformance replenishment items through to completion Quarterly updates of critical customer specification files This role will include regular interaction with cross functional teams, order management, billing, manufacturing and sales engineers and interaction with customers (as required by commercial and procurement teams) to work towards issue resolution.



Who You Are:




Minimum Qualifications:



High School Diploma or GED and 3+ years of experience in business support1+ years of experience in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint



Preferred Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Business AdministrationSemiconductor industry experience Experience with Analysis for ExcelOrganized, self-motivated individual who learns quickly and can balance multiple priorities Ability to work cross functionally and build relationships in a diverse teamStrong written and verbal communication Attention to detail
