Job Description
Our client, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of PE geomembranes and high-standard containment solutions, is looking for a Machine Safety Inspector/Expert. The successful candidate will be a contractor and work on a as needed basis.
Responsibilities
Perform inspections based on information provided (i.e. occupational risk assessments, user manuals, maintenance documents, regulatory requirements etc.) to identify machine safety hazards.
Conduct equipment based Occupational Risk Assessments with available information.
Provide machine risk rating.
Recommend risk reduction measures and corrective actions.
Conduct periodic tests, tests prior to commissioning, AMSCI inspections, test of safety related functions.
Participate in Occupational Risk Assessments and Design Risk Assessments.
Design review and consultancy, HAZOP's, LOPA's and SISTEMA calculations.
Show awareness and the ability to autonomously find and mitigate systematic failures, can identify and address systemic failures.
