The Recruiter will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting, new hire onboarding and recruiting administration. In this role, you will work as part of the Talent Acquisition team in an environment that is fast-paced and proactive. You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR business partners to fully understand talent needs. The ideal candidate will have a high sense of urgency, ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced, consistently changing environment. You will possess effective communication skills that demonstrate a strong understanding of the business, technology, and people to position Nabors as the “Employer of Choice”.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Execute full life cycle recruiting; including preparing job descriptions with hiring managers as needed, posting requisitions, screening and tracking candidates, interviewing, and working with HR to prepare offers.

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop appropriate recruitment strategies.

  • Source and attract qualified candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals, including Indeed Recruiter, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates' qualifications, skills, and cultural fit for specific roles within the organization.

    Schedule candidate interviews with hiring managers and leadership team as required.

  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, universities, professional associations, and other relevant networks to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.

  • Work with the Nabors Communications Team to develop recruiting campaigns for solicitation, attraction, and talent pooling.

  • Create and prepare regular reports to demonstrate recruiting numbers, success rate, and various associated metrics.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies throughout the recruitment process.

  • Facilitate or assist in New Hire Onboarding & Orientation.

  • Initiate drug screens, background checks, and skilled tests for potential employees.

  • Verify candidate drug screens, background checks, and skilled assessment tests are completed and passed according to company policy.

  • Initiate onboarding documents for new hires.

  • Manage new hire communication regarding 1st day requirements.

  • Prepares new hire packets, processes all employee paperwork, and files paperwork.

  • Coordinate and execute new hire orientation program.

  • Participate and execute ad hoc HR and Talent Acquisition projects, programs, and events, and other activities as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience. 

  • 2 to 5 years of direct recruitment experience with some experience in a corporate talent acquisition setting.

  • Proven ability to generate candidate pipelines utilizing innovative techniques that include strategic sourcing, internet mining, social media, etc.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to convey business needs and results.

  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office products.

  • Attentive to detail and able to maintain manual tracking and reporting of data.

  • Able to participate in offsite hiring events (campus recruiting and job fairs).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Previous experience using Taleo ATS a plus.

  • Previous experience using Oracle Cloud ATS a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field a plus.

  • Masters degree a plus.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and use hands.
