The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for maintaining inventories of finished products. They are also responsible for unloading and storing raw yarn for use in manufacturing, and for loading and unloading other materials as needed by the plant.
What is my earning potential?
We now offer new competitive hourly rates starting at $15.11 with top pay up to $15.87. In addition, our updated enhanced shift premium $1.00 for 12-hour night shifts.
How will you play an important role?
Receiving and weighing finished yarn for storage in the warehouse.
Storing finished yarn in the rack system with the aid of radio frequency communication and the computerized distribution management system.
Auditing and maintain warehouse inventories.
Picking, staging, and verifying yarn for customer orders.
Loading trailers for customer deliveries.
Receiving and checking of paperwork for customer returned product.
Receiving and storage of raw yarn, texturing supplies and packing supplies.
Participates in and supports safety processes and initiatives
Supports shift and department team goals and objectives
Are you qualified for the position?
Warehouse Material Handler experience preferred, but not required (full training provided)
Forklift experience preferred, but not required
Basic computer skills
Ability to read
Ability to stand, walk, reach and bend frequently
Hand and finger dexterity
Ability to lift up to 13 lbs. (occasionally)
