As a member of the Innovation Capabilities team, the role partners with Study Managers and R&E customers to design technical research plans involving both bench and human testing in support of achieving business strategies and objectives through study analysis and result interpretation. The role will provide consulting and education to product development partners and other testing teams on statistical methods and data science. In addition the role will support cross functional advertising claim substantiation efforts

Responsibilities:


  • Partners with BU project teams to develop and implement technical testing multi-study plans for research, new product development and advertising claims substantiation involving bench methods and studies with humans (e.g. sensory, in home, central location, Class I/II clinical).


  • Ability to understand and incorporate advanced statistical principles related to hypothesis testing, advanced statistical models, experimental design, machine learning and sampling techniques into projects.


  • Contribute experimental design, statistical analysis, and data management plan to the Study Protocol


  • Complete statistical analysis and collaborate with customers to develop/communicate interpretive report.


  • Apply unique statistical or graphical analysis techniques to deliver analytics across diverse data sets that increase the richness of the results and insights


  • Presents and influences the Sector leaders


  • Consult on and influence study design and conduct analysis for other internal testing teams.

Required (essential for the job):


  • Advanced understanding of statistical analysis methods and experimental design with ability to transform statistical results into actionable knowledge.


  • Proficiency with SAS for data management and advanced statistical modeling


  • Ability to synthesize information across recent and historical studies and diverse data sets.


  • Ability to explain complex information in a simple, understandable way both written and verbal


  • Successful engagement in a team-oriented environment to successfully deliver business results


    Preferred (not essential, but desired):


    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications e.g., Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Sharepoint


    • Familiarity with Power BI JMP or R for data visualization


    • Data storytelling and compelling communication skills that bring data to life are a plus


    • Causal modeling or data science experience in addition to statistical skills and experience’
