RINA

QA/QC Site Lead

Moses Lake, WA (on client site)


  1. Immediate start - expected term June 2024 - May 2025
  2. The estimated work week consists of a minimum of 40 hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Act as owners inspectors & oversee all site contractor's quality activities.

• Review contraction contractors procedures and ITP.

• Check contractors work as per the approved ITP and ensure the contractor is compiling all required documents.

• Ensure the work is completed in accordance with the approved drawings, statues laws and regulations.

• Periodic assessments to determine if the contractor is complying with the plans and procedures.

• These may be performed with the contactor or independently and may use various methods such as surveillance checklists or formal audits.

• Verifications of work products to confirm that deliverables are in accordance with construction drawings, instructions, etc.

• Responsible for witnessing, testing to the degree necessary to assure that the final product is following Project specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Witness Hydro test on piping systems.

• Report periodically on quality issues, statues of construction.

• Ensure all filed changes are flagged and approved by engineering before any work takes place.

• Inspect all items received at site to date.

• Follow up with engineering and quality lead on any missing documents for items received at site.

• Ensure the maintenance/storage procedures for all equipment received at site are followed.

• Report nonconforming work and products or work process for appropriate action.

• Interface with local, statues code and regulatory authorities.

• Ensure all required documentation is available for review by the regulatory authorities & hand over to commissioning team.

• Ensure all applicable check lists have been signed off by the contractor.

• Review all quality related documents for each system ensure all required documents are provided by the contractor.

Professional Requirements:

• High School Diploma required

• AWS/CWI Valid Certification

• 10 years experience in site QA?QC Inspection background of rotating equipment, pressure vessel, piping & structural steel, as well as strong knowledge of Washington statues regulations.

• At least more than 5 years experience in sustainable SAF, Carbon related projects, power generation industries in the field of pressure retaining components, piping, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, steel structures, etc.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Good knowledge (spoken and written) of foreign languages (preferable English) including technical dictionary will be a plus.
• Good knowledge in the use of PC including software and applications (e.g. Windows, Office, etc.)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent in design integration of various major equipment for capital projects.

• Knowledge of the international Quality Standards and applicable design and construction norms and standards.
