Processes customer orders across all MZB-USA divisions, which includes pricing analysis and EDI order-entry, and verifying, approving, and rejecting pricing deals if not within established parameters. The person in this role will also collaborate with Sales and help with root cause analysis to ensure continuous improvement and savings initiatives.
Position Duties:
Generate and maintain reports, track trends, and analyze order revisions - as well as EDI performance with a focus on how those metrics affect the organization as a whole
Communicate with Customer Relations Team, Sales Managers, Directors, and VPs, as well as brokers and customers in resolving and releasing order holds and other factors pertinent to the smooth processing of orders; may reject pricing if deals are outside contract / pre-established parameters
Enter customer orders and reviews for accuracy and completeness
Create and maintain customer accounts within JDE
Assist with the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) process by working with trading partners and our IT team in setting up and maintaining effective EDI functionality for our various EDI relationships including customers, brokers, and third-party logistics providers
Perform general JDE maintenance as needed such as deleting old, outdated information and harmonizing the data in JDE
Review and approve or deny credits generated from the Logistics Deductions team
Collaborate with Sales and Financial Analysts in creating consistent and manageable pricing
Review and resolve sales update errors
Maintain base price changes within JDE for accuracy and timeliness
Create and maintain pricing schedules, as well as advance price adjustments that simplify and improve the processing of orders
Process the timely invoicing of equipment leases, royalties, rents, and all subsidiary invoicing activities
Generate non-inventory credits and non-inventory rebilling orders in JDE
Reconcile GL accounts
Analyze pricing related matters with a focus on how those metrics affect the organization as a whole
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
Business or Financial degree or relevant experience preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in a related pricing role
Excellent at math and fluent in algebraic principles
Analytical mindset with the ability to problem solve independently required
Data mining and well versed in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required
Demonstrated customer service / strong communication skills needed
Experience with an ERP system strongly preferred
