Position Overview: We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. As a CNA at Lincoln Meadows, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and assistance to our residents under the supervision of licensed nurses. CNAs are essential members of our healthcare team, providing direct care, monitoring residents' health, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide assistance with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure residents' comfort and safety.
Assist with feeding and meal assistance as needed, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration for residents.
Perform routine vital sign measurements and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
Assist in the implementation of residents' care plans, following established protocols and procedures.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a caring and supportive environment.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care activities and observations.
Qualifications:
Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of California.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but not required.
Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
