Production Supervisor (Both 2nd Shift and 3rd Shifts available)
Location: Wentzville, MO
Shift Hours:
- Second Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
- Third Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Compensation:
- Maximum Pay Rate: $33/hour
- Max overtime pay after 40 hours is $49.50/hour
Employment Type:
- Contract to Hire (long-term) OR Direct Hire/FTE
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Either a 4-year degree or 5 years of related experience
- Experience supervising in a unionized environment is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a unit engaged in seat assembly and shipping.
- Plan and organize work, ensuring compliance with operation description sheets and established priorities.
- Maintain production records and related paperwork.
- Monitor time and attendance.
- Investigate work problems, take necessary actions to eliminate production delays, and recommend process improvements.
- Responsible for equipment care, repair, and replacement as needed.
- Explain company policies and regulations, maintain positive personnel relationships, and recommend employee status changes.
- Handle initial steps of employee grievances.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee hourly employees.
