Advertised Job Summary


Serves as the Systems Administrator for the UofSC School of Medicine Greenville (SOMG). Provides technical consulting for systems configuration and design. Provides support and training for faculty, staff, and students. Maintains documentation and inventory of end user systems, servers, software and network configuration. Demonstrates commitment to conducting business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.



Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)






Preferred Qualifications


Prior experience with MacOS, iOS, Windows, and Office 365. Previous experience with MDM platforms preferred (Meraki, JAMF, BigFix). Previous experience with VMware Horizon preferred.



Knowledge/Skills/Abilities


Knowledge of various technology hardware/software and ability to perform advanced troubleshooting. Must be capable of learning and supporting a wide variety of systems and software platforms. Must have the ability to provide courteous customer service to a diverse clientele, including faculty, staff and students. Ability to conduct business lawfully and ethically by consistently adhering to compliance policies, procedures and regulations.
