Required:

M.S. in Biological Sciences, strongly prefer broad training in biology; a strong interest in teaching excellence; Must be able to teach in-person on the SRSU Alpine campus.



Preferred:

Ph.D in Biology or closely related fields.


Primary Responsibilities:

Teach 15 semester credit hours per semester. Courses can include, but not be limited to, General Botany, General Zoology, Biology for Majors I and II, Plants and People, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Terminology and other related courses in the field. Delivery of courses will be through face to face as well as distance delivery.Position is Security Sensitive.

The Department of Natural Sciences offers BS and MS degrees in Biology, Geology, and Natural Resource Management. The graduate programs enroll approximately thirty students, primarily thesis seeking. Although research is encouraged, excellence in classroom instruction is the first priority of the department.
