The HR Generalist will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's human resources functions with a focus on employee relations, labor relations, employee communication, employee engagement and performance management systems
Act as a primary point of contact for employee concerns and conflict resolution
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and compliance
Assist in managing relationships with unions and ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements
Handle grievances, negotiations, and arbitration processes effectively and professionally
Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance employee engagement and alignment with organizational goals
Facilitate open channels of communication between management and staff
Collaborate with department heads to design and execute initiatives aimed at promoting employee morale, satisfaction, and retention
Plan and coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and team-building activities
Lead investigations into employee complaints, misconduct allegations, and other workplace issues
Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and make recommendations for resolution and corrective action
Ensure investigations are conducted impartially, thoroughly, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development initiatives
Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related challenges, leveraging analytical insights to drive effective solutions and foster a positive and inclusive work environment
