What we need:


Mohawk is looking for a Purchasing Resolution Specialist who will conduct root cause analysis of Procure to Pay (P2P) workflow errors and communicate what permanent changes to various elements of the P2P process are required.


This role will also work with the company's vendors, along with the purchasing and accounts payable teams, to resolve vendor invoice discrepancies and provide an exceptional customer experience.


What you'll do:



  • Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvement
  • Research vendor invoice discrepancies and collaborate with vendor to resolve in a timely manner
  • Communicate with the plant to close open PO's due to goods receipt issues, missing information, etc.
  • Act as a liaison to vendors regarding payment status, general inquiries or missing required documents, etc.
  • Proactively educate vendors on the Tungsten invoicing system, as necessary
  • Effectively communicate instructions to vendor on electronic invoicing process as necessary
  • Effectively communicate with Business Partners, the Strategic Sourcing team, and Accounts Payable in the areas of POs, invoice processing, etc.


What you have:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP (preferred)

  • Exercising independent judgment and demonstrating solid time management and organizational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines and schedules
  • Communicating and negotiating effectively with internal and external customers
  • Using appropriate conflict resolution methods to respond quickly to customer/consumer issues with a positive and empathetic attitude
  • Staying organized and paying attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
