Job Description:


Kforce has a client in Pleasanton, CA that is seeking a Salesforce Platform Developer III to be part of the growing Salesforce Service Cloud/ Sales Cloud Engineering Team developing solutions on the Salesforce Service Cloud.


  • Collaborate with Solution Architect, Technical Lead and Product Management to implement features into Salesforce solutions

  • Develop Salesforce Service Cloud solutions using Lightning and Apex

  • Debug and troubleshoot code related issues/defects

  • Collaborate with quality engineers to create test strategy and proactively identify opportunities for addressing critical issues

  • Provide best practices and oversee performance test execution, performance tuning and optimizations for processes within Salesforce

  • Create Reports and Dashboards as needed by customers of the platform

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that code quality and design patterns are followed

  • Utilize App Exchange

  • Increase out of the box functionality, minimum customization, enhanced security

  • Leveraging Back Office Data via Salesforce Interface: Consume External APIs; Expose Salesforce APIs

  • Salesforce out of the box reports and dashboards

  • Write Code

  • Deployment process: Review Code; Approve PRs; Deploy code to higher org; Troubleshoot issues with deployment

Utilize standard Salesforce out of the box and Lighting Web Components functionalities:

  • Lighting Services

  • Lighting Tabs and pages

  • Lighting Components

  • Lighting Design System

  • Page Layouts

  • Canvas

  • Compact Layout


  • Salesforce certification is nice to have

  • Overall, 8-10 years of experience as Salesforce Platform Developer

  • Experience in implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud

  • Experience in Lighting Web Components

  • Experience in Apex Classes and Triggers, Lightning Flows, Objects and Validation Rules

  • Experience in Consume External APIs and Expose Salesforce APIs

  • Good knowledge in Deployment process, Code Reviews and Troubleshooting

  • Be comfortable with Agile SDLC methodologies

  • CRMA knowledge

Experience with the following:

  • User Management

  • Comment Management

  • Files and Attachments

  • Record Types

  • Custom Metadata and Custom Settings

  • OWD and Sharing Settings/Rules

  • Apex Classes and Triggers

  • Validation Rules

  • Service Cloud Console

  • Lighting Flows

  • Permission Sets

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
