InterDigital is looking to hire a Total RewardsLeader to join the People team. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this role will be responsible for leading our Total Rewards function.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and managing the development and continuous improvement of our global total rewards programs, including managing the execution of global benefits, compensation, and equity programs that help us attract and retain the best talent. In addition, you'll manage an experienced HR Systems (Workday) and HR operations team.

This is a 6-8 month leave coverage position. Ideally, the role will operate on a hybrid schedule, working 2-3 days per week from home, and 2-3 days per week in our Conshohocken, PA office.


  • Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including career architecture implementation, to attract and retain world-class talent across all functions. Ensure our compensation and benefits programs remain competitive and aligned with industry standards through market research.

  • Lead/manage our existing Benefits team members and oversee the development and management of global employee benefits programs, including health and wellness benefits, retirement plans, leave policies, and other employee perks.

  • Oversee all HR Data set initiatives and other ad hoc or formal HR reporting requirements.

  • Partner with the Chief People Officer on all Board related Compensation and Equity matters.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver effective communication and education programs to enhance employee understanding and engagement with total rewards offerings.

  • Partner with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of total rewards expenses.

  • Provide guidance and support to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation and benefits matters, including job evaluations, salary offers, promotions, and other related activities.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as compensation consultants, benefits providers, and other relevant stakeholders to optimize program effectiveness and cost efficiency.


  • 8+ years in total rewards management, including compensation design, benefits administration, equity program design and executive compensation with at least 3+ years as a people leader.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative total rewards strategies that align with organizational goals and support recruitment and retention.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, HR teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design and communicate clear processes, and a detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving.

Additionally, these are the preferred qualifications that would indicate a particularly strong candidate:

  • Public company experience including experience creating board presentations.

  • Experience leading HR Operations and/or HRIS systems (Workday) and compensation/benefits software tools.

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) are desirable.

  • Conshohocken, PA strongly preferred.
