You will direct and manage by utilizing Operational Excellence (OpEx) structure and processes to guide all plant operations with overall responsibilities for production, maintenance, and other production-related activities. Ensure that manufacturing KPI’s, deadlines and budgets are met. 


Here’s What You’ll Get To Do



  • Provides the vision, leadership, and coaching of the Toyota Production System needed to develop and maintain the competencies, performance through KPI’s, and collaboration of plant supervisors and departmental employees.

  • Drive positive change in all aspects of plant operations using OpEx tools and methodologies, teamwork, and shop floor KPI’s, to include Safety, Environment, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost.

  • Works closely with all departments to ensure that operations of the plant meet Plant KPI’s and strategic goals, to deliver the overall objectives of the company through the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

  • Coordinates plant profit forecasting and operating statements involving production estimates, raw material cost, labor cost, supplies, machinery maintenance and repair, etc. to keep plant operating to deliver on the AOP.

  • Establish and monitor overall plant performance for safety, quality, and production standards.

  • Reviews the plant KPI’s and P&L to identify opportunities for improvement in production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation for the plant, based on the annual plan.



    Here’s What We’re Looking For



    • 6+ years of manufacturing management experience

    • Understands production planning concepts.

    • Possess a working knowledge of TPS concepts, assembly, materials, maintenance, quality programs, and safety programs.

    • Possess a working knowledge of company financials: P&L, budgets and expenditures, marginal contributions, etc.

    • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the public.

    • Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

    • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously.

    • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.
