Job Description:

Schneider Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a motivated individual to participate as a Electrical Engineering Intern for Fall 2024 in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate will be interested in testing, design, and a future career in electrical engineering.

What will you do?


  • Shadow a highly skilled team of Design Engineers on various projects

  • Help design our low-voltage switchgear and switchboards to be used for utility and generator power in industrial instillations

  • Interact with field sales force and plant manufacturing personnel

  • Learn about what it's like to work in an engineering environment within a manufacturing facility

What qualifications will make you successful?


  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Work well in a team environment

  • Proficient with Microsoft 360 applications - Word, Excel etc.

  • Basic understanding of simulation tools, lab equipment, test equpment, power supplies
