Role description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Design Intern to join Arcadis. This internship will offer you hands-on experience in various aspects of graphic design, including digital, print, and branding. You will work closely with our Resilience - Water team to create visually engaging concepts and campaigns that resonate with our clients.

Role accountabilities:

Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing and developing layouts for marketing materials, including brochures, slick sheets, PowerPoint presentations, and proposals.
• Help conceptualize and execute visual designs for campaigns and projects under the guidance of senior designers.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
• Support the graphics and proposals team with day-to-day operations and tasks.

• Gain direct mentorship from experienced graphic designers in the AEC industry.
• Develop a deep understanding of strategic branding and marketing initiatives.
• Learn about the Proposal process, including template design, content development and production, with an emphasis on the importance of graphics to enhance communication and convey technical concepts.
• Enhance technical skills with professional design tools and software.
• Build a professional network within the creative industry.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university, pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
