Manager, On Premise Channel Sales - Central Texas

Role Responsibilities

Manage the On-Premise sales team to expand the distribution and promotional support of Suntory Global Spirits products to achieve the sales and profit goals. Work with the Senior Manager, On Premise Channel Sales and Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits to maximize efficiency and effectiveness to achieve maximum penetration of On-Premise distribution and sales.

• Ensure end-to-end execution of commercial responsibilities, driving NSV, DGP, market share growth, and KPI attainment in assigned territory or channel of business.
• Invest time in GEMBA to gain a broad view of the market, assess distributor execution, and understand what the competition is doing from a pricing and programming standpoint and adapt accordingly.
• Create a culture of inclusion, diversity of thought, and accountability with our internal BSI team and Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits distributor team.
• Maintain and develop new volume opportunities with customers to include placements/spec list improvements; menu listing in key cocktail; features and promotions, and well placements.
• Responsible for local programming strategy, execution and resource management.
• Work with and manage Southern Glazer's Wine and Spirits distributor leads to track and monitor progress and ensure all goals are achieved.
• Hold distributor principles accountable for financial performance objectives and KPI delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Beam Suntory National Account initiatives, including coordination with NA and local teams, proactive management of all programs and follow up reporting.
• Successfully manage execution of all on-premise events and leverage division or company sponsored tracking and execution recaps as provided.
• Drive planning discussions (QBR, MBR, and TBR) with local leadership to gain buy-in and alignment on key priorities and address business needs.
• Stay current with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, ensuring that all efforts and sales activities comply.
• Directly inspire, influence, and manage team members (OPPM/OPPA) in market, driving execution and accountability against key initiatives, goals, and KPIs.
• Manage budget for self and team (i.e. OPEX, Brand Investment Funds, T&E.)
• Work closely with marketing managers to bring to life in market activations.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional planning and self-management skills.
• Thorough knowledge of distribution, promotion and selling techniques.
• Sales experience, including experience selling promotion and marketing programs.
• MS Office Suite.
• Previous distributor experience preferred but not necessary.
• Experience in the spirits industry preferred - Channel Management, On-Premise Experience, and People Leadership all considered.
• Licensed driver of motor vehicles.
• Ability for intermittent travel.
• Flexibility in scheduling is essential as this position may require work on weekends and during evening hours to accommodate business needs.
