As an Appliance Repair Technician, you’ll visit our clients’ homes to repair appliances such as washers, dryers, ovens, stoves, dishwashers, microwaves and refrigerators. You’ll provide a seamless customer experience by giving advice on products and services. This will include performing complex work, evaluating the severity of device issues and de-escalating difficult client interactions as needed.

What you’ll do

• Fulfill appointments, both individually and as the leader of a two-person crew


• Diagnose issues and make necessary repairs


• Explain to clients how to use their appliances properly


• Manage an accurate record of all parts used to repair, replace or maintain appliances


• Provide feedback and training opportunities to your team

• Must be at least 21 years old


• Current, valid driver’s license


• Have and maintain a driving record which meets Best Buy safety standards (e.g., minimal number of violations/accidents, etc.)


• Acquire and maintain any state or local licensing, as required, within 90 days of hire


• Able to lift 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and up to 150 pounds with help


• 1 year of experience as an appliance repair technician or similar role

• Customer service experience, including resolution of complex issues
