Summary:
Seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Operations to lead and oversee all aspects of our day-to-day operations. This strategic leader will play a critical role in ensuring we deliver exceptional in-home care services to our patients while maintaining optimal organizational efficiency. You will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that support our mission of providing high-quality, compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and manage operational strategies that ensure efficient and effective delivery of home health services across all disciplines (nursing, therapy, social work, etc.).
Lead and manage a team of operations professionals, including supervisors, schedulers, and care coordinators.
Oversee all operational processes, including patient intake, scheduling, care delivery, and quality assurance.
Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to streamline workflows, maximize productivity, and enhance patient satisfaction.
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor operational effectiveness, track patient outcomes, and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and manage the operational budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to established financial protocols.
Manage vendor relationships with a focus on securing reliable and cost-effective supplies and equipment for patient care.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to operations, ensuring compliance with all Medicare and state regulations.
Lead staff development initiatives to ensure all team members stay up-to-date on best practices and regulatory changes in home healthcare.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role within a home healthcare agency or related setting.
Proven track record of success in improving operational efficiency, productivity, and patient satisfaction in a home healthcare setting.
Deep understanding of Medicare and state regulations governing home healthcare services.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and thrive under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software, and electronic health record (EHR) systems used in home healthcare.
