Oversee the monitoring of trailer dwell and assist in the movement of assets to reduce/eliminate the costs associated with trailer rentals. Responsible for recommendations and oversight of trailer pools at vendors to ensure optimal trailer utilization. - Any experience in guiding teams to collectively create actionable solutions
- 3+ years of experience in Asset Protection Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
- Strong negotiation, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to remain flexible and adjust promptly/effectively during times of change
- Proven ability to leverage the capabilities/insights of individuals with diverse styles, abilities and motivations to achieve strong results

Desired
- Bachelor's Degree a related field- Oversee ORBCOMM tracking systems
- Track and manage our trailers; optimize these assets
- Develop policies on utilization, vendor trailer pool standards, procedures for theft and trailer rentals
- Train local operators how to manage their local trailer fleet
- Develop SOPs for trailer rental process, missing trailer reports and stolen trailer reporting
- Serve as the single point of contact for all asset protection related needs (e.g., training, investigations, asset protection equipment needs and repairs, security officers, etc.)
- Lead teams to solve problems, eliminate waste and reduce variation
- Collaborate with distribution facilities, stores, vendors, team members, and other transportation offices on asset utilization, supplier needs, supplier resolution, and maximizing Private Fleet Competitive Advantage
- Partner with regional leads in field and command center to improve service, cost, and business KPIs such as profitability, service, dwell, productivity, flow, etc.
- Query, compile, analyze, and provide access and visibility to data that provides insight; design solutions and action plans to meet needs both internally and externally
- Participate in all relevant aspects of project management initiatives and support commissioning, qualification and verification for capital projects
- Develop/leverage collaborative relationships to achieve work goals
- Identify and understand issues and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions, use effective approaches for choosing a course of action, and take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences
