The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for the delivery of human resources products and services including, but not limited to, workforce planning, HR communications, HR projects and HR analytics as needed. This hands-on position will collaborate with other HR Business Partners, Operations, and other departments to meet business needs through open and constant communications. The incumbent will serve as the primary HR contact within the designated client group.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for partnering with VPs and Managers to provide advice and guidance on all HR related matters and issues within the designated client group
Owns the recruitment and onboarding process from start to finish for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary employees within the designated client group
Consults with business leaders to diagnose current and future HR needs and develop a strategy for resolution
Monitors various reports to ensure all necessary compliance requirements are met and maintained
Protects and safeguards highly important and confidential documentation and information
Conducts workplace investigations as assigned
Disseminates changes to employee and managers regarding HR policies and procedures through various communication venues such as, safety meetings, brand level meetings, emails, etc.
Coordinates with the Benefits, Payroll, and Training groups to solve various HR related issues as needed
Works with supervisors to screen and interview candidates
Conducts pre-employment checks and extends job offers
Coordinates and conducts new-employee orientations as applicable
Conducts exit interviews as needed
Provides recommendations to business leaders to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Participates in staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
Flexible, demonstrates grace under pressure, and respect for the highly confidential nature of the work
Travel 30 - 40%

REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of progressive oil and gas industry experience
SPHR/PHR certification preferred
Possess the initiative, judgment, discretion, and motivation skills to anticipate business needs and make recommendations
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management and federal and state respective employment laws
Process oriented with the ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks, allocate and optimize resources, and manage timelines
Strong conflict management skills
COMPUTER
Highly proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Human Resources Information System (HRIS), UKG Ready experience preferred
