Position Overview


This position is responsible for supporting the MARTIAL Eagles and Early Start program, requiring a general working knowledge of supporting students throughout their transition into college academically, socially, and emotionally.



Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in related field and one year of related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities


This position is responsible for a variety of tasks which may include assisting with curriculum development, community outreach, assisting in developing and conducting training programs, developing learning assessments, reporting, program marketing, and facilitation of classroom presentations and workshops. Proficient knowledge in executing all listed tasks.

Bachelor of Arts in any major



Required License/Registration/Certifications

Job Duties:



  • Assists with implementation, development, planning, promotion/dissemination and logistical support of projects, including lesson plans, activities, program presentation directly to students, recruitment, and training.

  • Mentors program participants as they acclimate to life on campus.

  • Maintains relationships with appropriate stakeholders such as alumni, on-campus partners, community organizations. Acts as point of contact for stakeholders related to programs and projects.

  • Assists, as needed, with oversight of student employees and related duties (i.e. hiring, training, evaluation) as well as providing guidance for professional development and community involvement which may include internship programs, as necessary.

  • Collaboration and assistance across the Advising & Student Success Teams.
