Codes and Standards Strategy Leader

Location: Franklin Hub preferred, alternate USA locations are also possible for candidate

Job Description


  1. Animate and drive holistic C&S strategy and adapt to agile approach encompassing the following pillars: Electrical Safety, Installation and commissioning, Digitization, Sustainability and NEL by working closely with respective C&S slice leaders, driving through leadership/ advocacy with global marketing.

  2. Accountable for ensuring outcomes align with NAM Hub strategy working closely with leagues and slice leaders.

  3. Accountable to build system of management and own platform to drive collaboration with C&S slice leaders and leagues.

  4. Accountable for education and continuous training with NAM hub, Power Products and Power Systems

  5. Accountable for providing consolidated updates on code changes to NAM Hub product owners and chapter leaders and ensuring we are driving favorable positions.

  6. Responsible to Collaborate and exchange C&S progress with other divisions and global stakeholders.

  7. Responsible for coordination of participation in std and code committees, conferences, papers

  8. Responsible for maintaining, developing, and coordinating thought leadership programs with Global marketing.


Qualifications

  • 10+ years prior work experience in product management, engineering or code relates domains.

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills across internal and partner teams and organizations.

  • Business degree with technical background: Bachelor of Engineering with MBA preferred.

  • Familiarity with technology in the new energy landscape space and electrical industry highly desired

  • Ability to influence and work in a matrixed environment across functions (engineering, marketing etc.) and countries e.g. (US, Canada, and MX)

  • Prior working experience with product managers and codes and standards topics is highly desirable.

  • Experience working on industry committees, codes and standards efforts is a plus.

  • Individual shall have strong analytical capabilities, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Individual shall have strong project / process / stakeholder management skills and can effectively collaborate with multiple diverse teams within the organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment, Open to change and must embrace the concept of continuous improvement.
