Description: The Judge Group is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners to join our provider network to perform general medical disability examinations for Veterans.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
Will be administering & completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) to veterans
As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, diagnostic testing, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations.
You develop a medical opinion of the likelihood that the Veteran's condition is related to their military service
No treatment or prescribing medications is involved.
Qualifications & Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner
License in state of practice
Ability to complete 16 hours of online training in 3-4 weeks
Graduate of an accredited program and board certification from ANCC or AANP
An agreement for a collaborating or supervising physician, where applicable
