The Product Manager will be part of the Business Enablement + Solutions team, a central IT team within the SF Fed that builds technical solutions for the 12th District and across the System. As the Product Manager, you will promote technology outcomes to meet the needs and expectations of our business partners. In your role, you will foster dialogue and communication between multiple partners and technical experts, encourage collaboration amongst Agile team members and lead Agile team planning. Additionally, you will lead all aspects of requirements gathering and capture of user stories, maintain a prioritized backlog, and guide sprint and release planning.

What will you do?

• Implementing product vision: Work with business and IT partners to identify gaps and opportunities for new capabilities, translate inspiring product visions into product roadmaps in alignment with business and IT strategies.




• Detail-oriented approach: Interpret requirements, write user stories and work with technical teams, developers, business analysts, UX and internal constituents to determine the details.




• Agile Practice: Partner with Scrum master and technical teams to participate in agile ceremonies (sprint demos, retrospectives, sprint planning), manage the backlog, and prioritize work within sprints.




• Continuous Improvement: Incorporate release reviews, user testing, user feedback, operational and performance metrics, and analysis to proactively identify enhancements and help mature the team’s agile processes.




• Communication: Maintain clear and consistent updates with relevant stakeholders.




• Coordination: Organize release activities and monitor product performance, adoption, and operational health; participate in testing as needed.




• Be a Team Champion: Lead by example and inspire your team to be adaptable and resilient in the face of obstacles. Celebrate the team's successes and support a culture of continuous team/process improvement.

What will you bring to the table?

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.




• Typically requires 5+ years relevant experience as a product owner within an agile team environment.




• Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative style and can share technical ideas and approaches with others.




• IT Cloud Infrastructure, software development process and technical software experience is preferred.




• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies.




• Experience using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar technology is a plus.




• Must be U.S. Citizen or Green Card with intent to become U.S. Citizen

Desired Skills:

• SAFe Product Owner Product Manager (POPM) certification or similar




• Familiarity with content management best practices and technology

Base Salary Range: 113,600.00 - 147,600.00 - 181,600.00 USD Annual

Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographic and other market data.
