The Accounting Manager will ensure compliance with SEC, GAAP, and other legal and regulatory requirements. You can expect to identify and help implement system, process, and cost improvements. You'll also ensure timely completion of high-quality work assignments, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close deliverables.

Research, analyze, and conclude on new accounting, reporting, and disclosure standards issued by the FASB and SEC and prepare memorandums including supportive literature, impact on the Company and conclusion
Evaluate transactions, research as needed to provide recommendations, and implement appropriate accounting and business solutions
Prepare financial reports, review and analyze financial information, and maintain accounting data in appropriate ledgers and journals
Promote the development of financial system improvements to eliminate manual processes and improve financial controls
Support external and internal auditors during quarterly reviews and audits
The successful Accounting Manager candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and an active CPA. You will also require:
4-7 years of accounting experience
Excellent understanding of GAAP; SEC reporting experience preferred
Proven record of driving process improvements and development of personnel
