Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for Associate Mechanical Engineer in Mukilteo, WA.


As a Associate Mechanical Engineer you will:

• Design new products based on customer requirements under the direction of Senior Engineers.
• Create digital models based on physical legacy products.
• Create and maintain Engineering documentation such as work instructions, 2D Drawings, database entries and product manuals.
• Create and test prototypes of new products utilizing test fixturing and a mixture of traditional and additive manufacturing.
• Aid manufacturing in creation of fixtures and jigs.
• Work with production team to pack and print production parts using SLS 3D printing.


This is a full time contingent opportunity.


The ideal candidate will have:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Teams.
• Experience with parametric modeling software required. Fusion 360 and/or Autodesk Inventor preferred.
• Experience creating mechanical 2D CAD drawings with tolerancing.
• Experience with mechanical measurement and test equipment such as calipers, precision rulers, feeler gauges, micrometers and pin gauges required.
• Experience with additive manufacturing techniques preferred.
• Experience with traditional manufacturing techniques preferred.
• Ability to communicate highly technical topics in person and through email.
• Ability to work in a team environment to solve complex problems.
• Highly organized while handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to organize time intelligently for greater productivity.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.


Experience and Education Requirements
• BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Related Field Required.
• 0-2 Years Relevant Experience Preferred

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
