Dedicated Technical Writer needed to work for a stable and growing company that is well respected in their industry! This is a direct placement opportunity in Fairview, Oregon.
As a Technical Writer you will:
Developing technical documentation for engineering related products, with a focus on user manuals, service literature, operator manuals, and installation guides.
Research, develop and edit content for global technical documents such as user manuals, service literature, operator manuals, and other technical guides.
Determine effective layout and structure for complex manuals and other technical documentation. • Create artwork for technical documents as needed.
Work with technical team and cross-departmentally to ensure accurate representation of complex technical data, drawings, and specifications.
QUALIFCATIONS
BA/BS Degree in Technical Writing, Technical Communication, Engineering (or related field), or equivalent work experience required.
Experience in engineering or work creating technical support documentation (technical illustration and technical writing).
Mechanical/technical aptitude required.
Basic understanding of electronics, hydraulics, programmable controllers, and engineering drawings/documentation.
Experience with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
SolidEdge or equivalent solid modeling/drafting experience preferred.
Salary Range: $55K-70K Plus Bonus quarterly
