Volt is immediately hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Manager in Ball Ground, GA.
As a Facilities Maintenance Manager you will:
Monitor status of maintenance projects and escalate concerns that could result in completion delays.
Receive and prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and available resources.
Supervise the maintenance team, which includes hiring, managing performance, assigning work schedules, and identifying and securing training needs.
Partner with plant personnel to address and find resolve equipment failures through root cause analysis.
Actively participate in site-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage preventative maintenance programs for the site and inspect work for completeness.
Maintain records and documentation related to repairs and inspect equipment regularly to identify current and potential needs.
Manage vendors, contractors and subcontractors and will be actively involved in the request for proposal (RFP) process.
Understand, practice, and champion the company's established safety procedures and quality standards.
Be responsible or assist with environmental compliance and reporting activities for the Ball Ground site.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
Preferably a Bachelor's degree
6+ years of experience related to managing the maintenance activities and team for a manufacturing/industrial facility.
Proven experience selecting and managing vendors, contractors, preventative maintenance programs, etc.
A minimum of 2 years leading a team.
Salary:$110,000 - $120,000 per year
