Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring a TIG Welder for a local leading organization of Manufacturing in Otay Mesa.

As a TIG Welder you will:

  • Modify existing metal, new tooling and creating jigs and fixtures for machining and welding efficiently.
  • Operate appropriate equipment to assemble tooling with a great deal of precision.
  • Knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential
  • Follows established safety and environmental policies, procedures, and methods applicable to the work area.
  • Performs other duties as necessary
  • Modification of tooling by welding and milling
  • Initiate and control paperwork associated with jobs received
  • Carry out direct orders of supervisor
This is a Full Time 1-Year opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Certified welder in Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG)
  • 3-5 years experience as a production welder preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Must possess basic math skills

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6AM-1:30PM


Pay Rate: $22 per hour.
