Configuration Manager needed for a dynamic engineering team who is looking to disrupt the aviation industry.
This is a direct placement opportunity in Long Beach, CA.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing and maintaining Configuration Management tools and processes.
As a Configuration Manager you will:
Develop Configuration Management (CM) Plans and Processes in accordance with industry standards such as SAE ARP4754A
Coordinate with cross functional groups to execute and optimize CM processes.
Support integration of CM processes into the PLM tool (Teamcenter)
Maintain CM Plans and Procedures
Define Configuration Items (CI), both hardware and software
Manage CIs and support standardization of engineering documentation and data.
Manage PRs (Problem Reports) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests).
Coordinate and prepare materials for CCB (Change Control Board) meetings.
Document and store CCB outcomes and decisions.
Support transfer of engineering data to manufacturing and ERP systems
Manage digital storage of historical configuration data.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience managing and maintaining Configuration Management tools and processes.
Familiarity with:
14 CFR Part 25 Regulations
SAE ARP4754A
Teamcenter Configuration Management
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical degree from an accredited university.
5-10 years' experience in Configuration Management in the Aerospace Industry.
Experience with software tools such as Siemens TeamCenter, SiemensNX, and MS Office Products preferred.

Salary Range: $145,000 - $175,000
