Job Description:

Configuration Manager needed for a dynamic engineering team who is looking to disrupt the aviation industry.


This is a direct placement opportunity in Long Beach, CA.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing and maintaining Configuration Management tools and processes.


As a Configuration Manager you will:

  • Develop Configuration Management (CM) Plans and Processes in accordance with industry standards such as SAE ARP4754A
  • Coordinate with cross functional groups to execute and optimize CM processes.
  • Support integration of CM processes into the PLM tool (Teamcenter)
  • Maintain CM Plans and Procedures
  • Define Configuration Items (CI), both hardware and software
  • Manage CIs and support standardization of engineering documentation and data.
  • Manage PRs (Problem Reports) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests).
  • Coordinate and prepare materials for CCB (Change Control Board) meetings.
  • Document and store CCB outcomes and decisions.
  • Support transfer of engineering data to manufacturing and ERP systems
  • Manage digital storage of historical configuration data.



The ideal candidate will have:


Experience managing and maintaining Configuration Management tools and processes.


Familiarity with:

  • 14 CFR Part 25 Regulations
  • SAE ARP4754A
  • Teamcenter Configuration Management
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a technical degree from an accredited university.
  • 5-10 years' experience in Configuration Management in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Experience with software tools such as Siemens TeamCenter, SiemensNX, and MS Office Products preferred.

Salary Range: $145,000 - $175,000

*Salary range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
