Volt is immediately hiring for Sanitation Worker in Santa Fe Springs, CA
*Full-Time* *Weekly Pay* *Benefits* *Temp to Hire* *
3rd Shift - 8pm-6:30am (Saturday off & 2 rotating days off during the week)
Mandatory Sundays (7am-5:30pm)
As a Sanitation Worker, you will:
Throw trash out 50 lbs. repetitive
Wash machines with pressure guns
must be able to bend and go under machines
chemical use to wipe down machines
punctual attendance according to shift-times or a pre-arranged work schedule.
Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Wear and maintain proper personal equipment (PPE).
Remove reusable cans from the patched areas on the packing lines, rinse them, and return to the depalletize for reuse
Clean around the trash compactor/dumpster and can baler and hose the area down.
Clean and sweep around the labelers and dumpers
Ensure that all chemicals are properly stored and labeled.
Do a general cleanup of any assigned area as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This is a Full-Time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 6-months experience
Slip resistant shoes (Rain Boots)
Valid California Driving License (Required)
To be able to Speak/Read/Write English (Bilingual Eng/Spa a plus)
Ability to count money accurately.

To be able to pass a 7-year Background Check

Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements.
Pay Rate: $19/hr
