Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for Administrative Assistant in Grand Island, NY.



As an Administrative Assistant you will:

  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
  • Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and other documents.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and emails.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence containing routing inquiries.
  • Majority of the work will be converting MS Word documents from one format (version 97) to a newer MS Word format (*.docx).


This is a full time opportunity.

Shift: 8am-5pm; Mon-Fri


The ideal candidate will have:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be knowledgeable in MS Word formatting techniques and able to check MS Word files in and out of MS SharePoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
  • Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
  • Attention to detail to ensure document accuracy needed.



Pay Rate: $18.67 per hour
