Introduction

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to join our collaborative HR team supporting the leadership team and employees in Mount Airy. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the integration efforts to align CyberRadio and Epiq. They will be focused on aligning our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes our values of humility, trust and respect and is empowered to lead change which supports our employee and company success. Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and selecting candidates.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company's culture and processes.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives for the Mount Airy location aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with stakeholders to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues; conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, staying current with state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Facilitate communication among employees and management, providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Assist with benefits administration for the Mount Airy location.


Requirements:

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner or similar, strong recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proficient understanding of HR functions, including but not limited to recruitment, staffing, employee development and career planning, agile performance management, employee counseling, and policy development.
  • In-depth knowledge of legal HR compliance and familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage data with confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven history of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with performance management and employee engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and build relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Experience in change management and organizational development.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) preferred.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
